ITE - InternationalTheaterEnsemble
yesterday > today >> tomorrow >>>

The ITE – is an international network of independent theatres and artists linked to each other by common methodology, common pool of theatre artists (actors, directors, designers, writers, musicians, etc.) and producers. Currently ITE has 4 legs – in Paris, Kiev, San Francisco and Taipei.
ITE represents the new experimental model of developing and managing theatre in the 21st century. This model not only produces theatre productions but also works on implementing new artistic ideas, establishing new vision on theatre and its education.
Such unique qualities of this international ensemble are its multilanguage and multicultural background, touring principal of operation within the existing network of established theatres in different parts of the world, newly developed and commonly shared artistic methodology – provide new opportunities for theatre art in modern world. Innovative ITE's concept allows to combine traditional features of live theatre, its “immediate” and emotional experience, deep sense of human connection and unity – with modern digital and interactive technologies, contemporary ideas in business operation and management, recent tendencies in social and economic integration.
ITE combines contemporary artistic ideas from modern Russian and European theatre with progressive American management. It allows to use finances from different sources and countries for producing contemporary theatre productions under the most favorable and inexpensive conditions and then touring them through the whole ITE network.
The international pool of ITE actors who live and work in different countries and cultural traditions allows to use and mix those traditions as well as languages in creating the unique theatrical language that is understood by international audiences. The common artistic background of members of this pool gives the possibility and joy of working together. This quality is particularly important in our time of united Europe and other integrating tendencies in Western civilization.
The concept of ITE is developed and artistically conducted by Oleg Liptsin, in artistic pool there are artists from USA, Canada, France, Taiwan, Poland, Russia, Lithuania, India and Ukraine.
